This is going to make me sound really dumb... But what could cause a hiccup on acceleration? When I'm cruising down the freeway (or street for that matter)and I go to speed up, I push the pedal down a little and the car shakes like a new driver with a shick shift (by the way, my 97 SC2 is a 5-speed but I'm not a moron with that type of thing)... I've replaced the fuel pump line and filter and checked a couple other things but the problem is still there... Any of you ever heard of this?

And any answers you have on the sunroof or how much dash assembly has to be removed to work with the stereo would be much appreciated

ECTS.
Replace ECTS and wiring harness. |
If the coolant sensor doesn't solve your problem it may be EGR valve related and could use a cleaning with carb spray.

I just had to take care of the MAP sensor because it popped my engine light on... I'll look into the ECTS this weekend... Thanks... btw: That other thread about the 2k rpm is one of my new problems as well. I though was caused by the MAP but doesn't seem like that fixed it... So keep your fingers crossed for the ECTS to fix both problems at once... |
