Default blower/heater air volume

seems like these cars done have alot of air volume .even on recirculate it feels like there should be more .
the blower sounds like its moving alot of air but its not blasting out the vents or anything .
this the norm?

I guess that quantity is in the opinion of the operator. The vents were originally designed to move the maximum amount of air possible, without creating hot/cold spots inside the car (read -> it don't blow directly on you). Of course, I'm ignoring the defroster vent in this comment

Pull out the vents, using a flashlight look to see if you have any blockage.

I had one that the foam came loose and blocked the air. What the hell the foam was for I don't know.

this could be the case .......when i go from heat to cool the cool blows more air .i did not see anything in the vents to impede flow

Pull the blower motor and with the same flashlight see what you can see.

nah the blend door switches from heat to cold .maybe theres no issue at all?this is my first saturn and it just seems like the blower is blowing more than what feels like coming out the vents .cold air blows harder then heat does .if that makes any sense?
