I have a 99 SC2 with the third door on drivers side. The dome light stopped working when the drivers door is opened. Problem is, I cannot find the switch that activates the dome light. Some people say the light works off the door latch, but I can't find how. The passenger door has the normal jamb switch on the "B" pillar.


If anyone has any advice, I would certainly appreciate it.

 

try squirting some WD 40 around the latch area in the door. Sometimes the micro switch gets dirty and hangs.
