dies in gear and codes sc1
 

ok, I have a 93 sc1 twin cam Automatic and it has issues. when I start it it revs up to 2500 rpm for a few seconds and then comes down to normal and kind of stumbles around a little then when I put it in D or R it dies. i can repeat cycle all day. I had someone scan it with snap on scanner and it displayed these codes not sure if related

53 info flag-esc exceeded max value
83 info flag-esc low coolant level

but coolant not low. any help appreciated thanks in advance

53 says the EGR valve is not operating properly. Need to pull it, clean it, clean the ports going to it and reinstall.

83 is the coolant catch tank. The sensor is stuck. Needs to be cleaned and flushed
