Coolant hose/pipe
The hoses that attach to the pipe that goes from the heater core to the reservoir and engine are crimped on. I take it to replace these hoses we're supposed to cut the crimps off?
Is the pipe behind there beaded already?
Just making sure and forming a plan of attack before I dive in.

I had to replace one on a 2002 SL2. The aluminum t-pipe under the resevoir had corroded through , right at the compression joint. I simply replaced the whole hose - from the heater core all the way to the thermostat housing.
I believe it' s the same part on all years/models and is simple to get at in a junkyard if the engine is out of vehicle....

2002 SC2
2 out of 3 of the connections are crimped, I forgot I changed the pipe to block hose already

Hard to get a pic of the core to pipe one, that's it in the lower left. We're looking down the firewall by the throttle body.
