K i am kinda new to workin on saturns i just picked up a 95 sc2 an the person i got it from had the fan wired up so it comes on with the key an i wanted to fix that so i got the sensor from autozone an took the old one out an to my luck i end up breaking the new one off in the head. I did get lucky an it is not leaking any coolant. I am thinking i might try a easy out i have never had luck with them but i figur it is worth a shot. does anyone have any other advice on how to get what is left in the head out

I-You should have bought the sensor from the dealer
2-You should replace the connector at the same time 3-Working on a SATURN is no different then working on anything else, so if you have no idea how to remove a broken stud, or sensor, you need to take it to someone that does.Edited by: sw2cam |
I cant comprehend how you broke it. I''ve changed a ton of these things. Either use an easy out to get it out or drill and tap a new sensor location. The neck where the radiator hose enters the head is a good spot. I''ve used that spot when I install 1996+ engines in 1993-1995''s.
