I''m in process of removing the old valve but cannot remove the bolt that the solinoid is attached with. The darn head of the bolt is ROUND with faint scoring like the edge of a coin. None of my sockets will work on this. What do I use to get this bolt off, I''ve never seen anything like it?!?!?!?!!

 

Its it just a rounded off bolt or some weird looking bolt?

 

oh thanks for replying. I got it figured out after I took and extreme close up photo with flash and was then able to see that the hole was actually hex shaped. I couldn''t tell until I had it up on my screen. An allen wrench did the trick after that!

 

Probably a torx head bolt. They''re all over the car.
