'96 SC2 passenger fender
I was posting this on another Saturn website and I guess it went belly up, because I haven't been able to access it today. I just bought a '96 SC2 that has a cracked passenger front fender. Thought about an aftermarket fender, but some say they don't fit as good. Other alternative is to find a used one. Anybody have an opinion on that? Also, what years body parts are compatible with the '96? Thanks!

Check in the classified and parts for sale section for Hoseppi. He has 95's+ in a salvage yard and can probably help you. I've shipped fenders by wrapping them in bubble wrap and packing tape through UPS with no problems. As far as used vs aftermarket I have used them both. The answer is yes, sometimes, maybe not and don't care.
If you are doing the job and are any kind of o.k., you can make it work. If you are paying some one else to do it, so can they. If you are just bolting it on! Well, deal with it. Some times you have to just take what you get. I've seen a lot of aftermarket parts bolted on, finished up and look better than new.
