ever heard of spider CAI's? or spyder. i saw them on google shopping and they looked cheap. i know the saying goes, you get what you pay for, but im not looking for anything great.

There are no Cold Air Intakes that work with the automatic transmission. The transmission filter gets in the way.

But there are plenty of short ram or "warn air intakes" available for your application.

Warm air? or Cold air? whats better for performance?

Low Saturn 06-05-2008 03:25 PM

Cold air is better. Cooler denser air entering the engine is better. But its probably such a small difference in performance, it wont be noticable.

A cold air intake sucks in air from inside the driver side wheel well. A warm air intake sucks in air from inside the engine compartment from just in front of the battery.Edited by: Low Saturn

im not looking for noticable power. i just know colder denser air is better and can help gas mileage a little bit.

well since i cant do a CAI i guess i wont do anything at all, a RAM air is hardly gonna do anything.

thanks low saturn for pointing that out to me.
