1998 SC1 no spark

Hi Ive a 1998 SC1 1.9 SHOC and I have no spark ,

Ive read many threads on this site, and also wondering if a bad temp sensor would cause no spark

The car been setting for 4yrs , decided to get it running for my son to drive. It would start and then die right away, I replaced the fuel filter, alternator , belt, and batteryhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png . Now Ive no spark at the plugs. remove wires from coils and there is no spark between them. I replaced the CPS with a new one , have 12volt at the pink wire at the DIS module and good ground at bk/wht wire , cleaned the wire ground on the motor and fender wells. Cleaned the positive wire at the battery and the fuse block on the drivers wheel well

Fuel pressure is good at the rail .

When cranking over the motor should the tachometer needle move a little? it is not moving at all. there is reference that there should be AC at the DIS module term E (white wire) and should the other end be reference to ground ? what should the ac be? Is there any way to check the coils? what would be resistance of the primary side of the coil should be ?

Sounds like you need a simple tune up. Plugs, wires, coils should get it fired up. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the crank position sensor. Look on eBay for coils. I just got a new pair for $45. Everything else I'd just buy at your local parts store. You can get away with this for around $100 total cost.
