Need coolant sensor for 2001 1.9L DOHC. The sensor that hooks up to the bottom of the coolant resevoir. It needs to have a few inches of wiring attached to it so I can splice it into the factory harness.

That sensor is not removable. You need the whole resevoir. Were you in some sort of accident and ripped that section of the wiring harness out?

Maybe not the sensor...it's the clip that goes in the bottom of the resevoir (maybe the clip plugs into the sensor itself??) Anyways...I was taking the resevoir out and couldn't reach the clip itself and the wiring just came out of the clip as I was trying to maneuvour it. Just can't put the wiring back in as I don't know where the clip is now


Anyways... all that is wrong is that the coolant light is on...no other issues. I just wanna sell the car for my g/f and need the light to turn off.
