Wanted - Block Heater cord for 2008 Astra
I'm looking for the cord that plugs into the front of the Astra and into the wall to activate the block heater. My cord is gone and with it getting to -35C this week, I could really use a new cord to help me get through the winter. Please let me know if you have a spare lying around somewhere, or if you live in a climate that for some reason has a block heater cord, but doesn't need it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
If you are missing the factory oil heater cord it is available from GM. Gmpartsgiant.com shows a cord in stock for about $80 US. There is probably a local GM dealer that can get you the correct parts locally. You will save money shopping on line but shipping and duties add up if it comes from south of the border.

Andy did above.
So did I.
Try Google. Put out some tiny bit of effort.

All parts seem to be available. Make sure you filter the results using the red button to match your vehicle so that you end up with the correct part numbers. If there was only one engine size, then all of that stuff is probably identical for all 2008 Astras, but that is for you to determine.
Total time spent finding parts via Google: 2.5 minutes.
Apologies, I am cranky today
