Wife had a mis-hap today, needing a left side rear tail-light lense for a 2001 LW300.
Any leads/offers appreciated.

Well, after several days searching, and being quoted anywhere from $145.00 - $150.00 + tax and shipping (for a 14 year old used tail light mind you), I was able to locate a salvage yard that did indeed have BOTH tail lights on hand and I was able to buy them both for $15.00 each and $20.00 shipping.
Didn't really need the right side light, but, figured with the offered price I would snag both of them for a very fair price.
Needless to say, I'm quite happy with the results of my perseverance. ;>)

 

I checked the junkyard where I get my stuff and they don't have an LW at all, Bill. I was gonna try to hook you up, but you did good, man. Perseverance pays off.

 

As an afterthought, I was thinking that as hard as it seems to find these parts, maybe I should make an offer on the entire car.
Nahhhhh......that might get in the way of other "rolling projects" I'd love to chase down, lol.
