Why do you need one? Its very, very rare that these PCM's go bad.
< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </>Yes, I need one. It's the only thing left to replace.I went through 3 trannies and a new valve body, with all the same results. I have since replaced all the timing components with new sensors everywhere and a new fuel system(not that any of this causes the tranny problems). I have no where else to turn. Off topic, whydo these post keep adding links to them.</>

What were the year and models of those three transmissions?
To get rid of those links, go to settings, then forum prefrences then under "Enable the WYSIWYG post editor" select NO. |
One was from a 93 and the others are a 94, as with the valvebody.
Used parts?
Since tranny problems are common, especially when the majority of the public dont properly maintain their vehicles, I wouldnt trust used automatic transmission parts. |
One tranny had like 68k on it and the other two were said to have under 50 and the valve bodies were reman. I dought all three trannies would do the exact same thing though, I mean they do everything to a tee the same.

How the condition of the connector on the top of the transmission?
Like I mentioned above, I seriously doubt its the PCM. They either work and the car runs or they dont and the car sits there dead. |
It look good from what I remember. I will have to chenck it out when I go on leave. So in like a week I can get a better Ideal.
Anyone out there got one of these ECU''s. I really need one weather its whats wrong or not. Thanks.
I might have one that I''ll happily sell you. Even though I''m pretty sure that not your problem. I''ll check my parts bin when I get home.

Well I pretty much have no where else to turn. Everything is brand new now. Every sensor has been replaced, been through all those trannies tryn to find out the problem and this is the only thing not replaced. It could be a wiring issue, but I am not able to diagnose that until I get home from Iraq. There is really no where else to turn.
Well I have three 93 PCM''s. Two DOHC and one SOHC.
Thanks for lookn, but I got a 94 ecu. I will let you know how it goes when I talk to my dad, after he puts it in. I read somewhere that someone else was having the same problem and it was a red power wire of the fuse relay box, I think. I am going to try and get my dad to check some of the connections while he''s at my house, I will keep ya updated on if this works or not. Thanks alot for the help.
Just be aware that sometimes swapping PCM''s dont play nice when between different years.
Well, the 94 Ecu made it home and my father put it in and the car runs perfect. Damn, I spent a crap ton of money replacing all the wrong parts, lol. Aww well atleast its pretty much a new car now, lol. Thanks to everyone for the help, appreciate it.
Keep that old PCM, gold plated and put it in a glass case. You have something very, very rare.
Lol, well I guess so. When I get home I will inspect it and see if maybe something inside burnt out, but for now just glad when I get home my winter car runs, woohoo.
