where are you located

euroc Mar 14, 2006 01:44 AM

Zip code 73110, Oklahoma City.

I also need the visors, if they are in good shape. So thats the upper front door trim (goes from dash and follow seat belt track) both visors, all four floor mats, CD player, and center armrest. All the parts need all the retaining clips (as you know car plastic breaks real easy) need to be in good overall shape, (mild discoloration, wear is normal, no scratches tears or stains). I'm not in any huge hurry, but let me know what parts you have or can get, and how much it will cost to ship them. I also need the plastic pieces that fit around the seat belt connection (at the top, above the red button) and the drivers side lap belt guide. I may sendyou pictures of what I need and the colors, so we can make sure there is no confusion.

Thanks

Saturn makes a replacement clip for those upper front door interior trim pieces. I have not tried them yet but I will when I get the car. It is an awful design, as those plastic snubs ALWAYS break off when pulling out of pillar. I go to the junk yard and findsome good trim pieces and it breaks off without fail. The replacement clip grabs on to the bottom most portion of where the snub comes out of so it looks like it should work with no need to replace whole trim piece anymore. Saturn so a problem and came up with a solution.

I think I am going to, at least on the drivers side, replace the automatic seatbelt with the passive as soon as I find a 94 or 95 in the junk yard, as it shouldwork with minimal rework. It worked with a mitsubishi I had and I only had to drill one hole in the pillar to accept the retractor assy. The great thing is the junk yards are justfilled with these cars that are just coming to the end of their lives while mine lives on.
