For Sale 1996 SW2 manual (White)
I hated to do this, since I've had this car since it came off the showroom, but I need to sell my SW2. Yesterday gears 2,4 and R went limp althouugh 1 and 3 engage properly. I think this is just a broken linkage and I'd have had it replaced except I need a car 24/7 and, with the holiday weekend, that wasn't about to happen. So, I bought another vehicle but didn't even offer the SW2 in trade because I'drather it go to fo to a Saturn enthusuast who will actually use it instead of ir merely being sold for scrap. With new tires (only 5,000 miles on them), new A/C (3,000 miles ago) and lots of service records to show what has been done to the car over the past 28 years, I couldn't see letting it go for "peanuts". If someone would give this car a good home and be willing to spend a few bucks replacing the linkage (I think one could be sourced very resonably) I'd (sadly) let it go for $1200.
