If I had the extra 3k for it I would be all over it. Slow time of year for work, though.
Plus my van is down right now. Someone with cash will do something fun with it.

Sounds like we're gonna have a multi owner forum car...????

Why'd the driving wheel airbag deploy on a side impact? If front corner, sure, but clearly hit from the side. Maybe angle of incidence? Maybe only two air bags so why the hell not? Did they have passengers seat occupied detectors back then? Because the passenger front airbag did not deploy.

Are you the orig owner?
Was it garage kept? Trying to figure out why wouldn't need new wheels and a paint job at this age. I know the tops were a mess in general and I'm sure the Texas Sun does not treat them kindly.

I'm not trying to pick at you or the car. Merely to understand its journey

Derf, just buy it. The price is right. Plus it's a Texas car. Rust free.

No room in the garage for it, can't store it in my driveway without valid safety and emissions stickers.

Build me an outbuilding with a real lift and we'll talk.

I drove the last sky red line at my long time at dealership's lot.
Sort of forgot it was rwd and almost slid it into a utility pole. On the second curve.

That thing was a joy to drive for what it was. Fun for all the reasons driving an SC2 is. For what it is.

I literally have a shop you can drop it off at and we can fix it 🤷

OP,

How does it run after the multi year rest?

Do it. Car will be safe in the shop in the back woods of east Texas...or just register it here 😅

The car has good stickers and registration

Everything is up to date. It's only been sitting since Thanksgiving.

No resting

The car was damaged on Thanksgiving day of this year. And it's been garage kept otherwise.

Thank you for the clarifications, sir.
