I have been searching around on the web (forms,etc), and like most who have tried have not found any way to have a switchblade key fob.
I thought of two ideas if anyone could give some input on if it's a possibility for it to work/how I would go about it.

1) use a key fob from another vehicle (any) that will fit our key fobs chip

2) use another vehicle fob (any) and just have it programed to work on the ion

We have switchblade fobs with the new 2014 Forte......while they are kool to a point I can see them costing a pretty penny when one goes bad or is lost. Over all ... they are not a big deal.

 

Ya I agree, I just like it cuz it bothers me having 3 keys for my house, car key, and the fob. I know its not that many keys, I just like it to be a little more simple.

Hmmmm -- got three Saturns, and three fobs. Wonder if something could be worked out ...
