Default Right Hand Drive Saturn

Hey Guys, the family and I were on our way home from Orlando yesterday and I spotted what looked to be a 94-95 Saturn wagon up ahead that looked to be in pretty good shape. As my son passed it, I looked over and it was a right hand drive Saturn! I wish I'd had a camera with me. This was no conversion as far as I could tell, because even the dash board had the "hump" with the instrument cluster on the right side too. My son said he's noticed that on the back was a sticker stating that it was a US Postal Delivery Vehicle. I wonder how many of those are still around? It was in very good shape, so apparently the woman driving it was taking good care of it. Ten minutes later she came blasting past us in the right hand lane and I never saw it again!

Ah the 1999 – 2001 Saturn SWP ("Postal") Station Wagon. 450 manufactured in 1999, intended to be marketed to rural route mail carriers.

Probably less after 99, so maybe 1000 total produced.
Who knows how many the Post Office actually purchased?
Collector's item!

However, RHD models were manufactured in the US and shipped to other countries, but some of the tail light configurations are different.

Exactly the same only different.

I want one. On a facebook group someone from Japan posted a photo of their 1st gen sc. Ill have to go find it cause it looked hot.

Only bummer is they never sold the rhd "postal edition" in manual here. Im sure the parts are able to be found for the non us market cars or can be made. i think the only issue would be the clutch master cyl.
I still want one

I was visiting a friend of mine in Tennessee in 2010 and his mail main had one of those, actually a couple of them. He apparently bought them from a Saturn dealer and they were built for a potential mail man's vehicle and what ever the situation was they contract did not take place so they were sold locally for cheap. So he had two. A rural mail man where they buy their own vehicles.
