Anyone else get a paper in the mail saying their car was apart of the ignition recall?

I did today....gotta wait for a GM dealer to contact me being the fact they haven't sent out parts to dealers yet. Wtf. Lol oh well at least its a free fix.

 

Just a heads up. When they ask what your car does. You tell them there are times you turn the key and the car does nothing. Lights come on but it will not start or even make a noise. I got that from RjION, as he just had both of his IONS done. Mine goes in monday, and now I know what to say just in case they ask.

 

Why do I have to come up with an excuse...they are changing them because they could be jarred out of the run position. I shouldnt have to make an excuse..

 

It's not an excuse........if the original owner ever had the item replaced under warranty you can by law be turned down from getting the item replaced a second time if you say everything works just fine. So you want to say just what I told sw....play the game cover YOUR ***.

I need to call and see when I can get my QC in. I've had no problems so I'm going to say mine has been done at some point.
