Posting pictures in posts
 

Yes, I'm a noob. I'll just get that out of the way right off.
Ok. I would like to learn how to insert pictures into posts. I don't intend to inundate my posts with pictures every time, but knowing how to do it would be extremely useful. When I select the "Insert image" button to the posts, it requires a web URL address.
First, does this mean that I have to get an off-site photo dump site (like Photobucket) and insert them from there? If that's the case, does anyone have a suggestion on where I should go to set an account up for that?
Or is there a way to insert them from my computer that doesn't require a URL?
Or I'm doing it all wrong, and there's a much simpler way of doing it? Has this question been asked before and I just missed it?
I can just here someone saying, "You're doing it wrong. Here's how it's done, son."

I think the pic upload lets you choose a url like phptobucket OR allows you to browse your PC locally. Go take a looksie. So will I

Your photobucket pic links don't work. Just paste the IMG text into your post and you pix will.show up
