So I know it can be a touchy subject bringing up politics and what not, but I'm going to brave the waters anyway and bring up a contested issue and see if I can get some opinions.

Which new Mountain Dew is everyone leaning towards. They have the two favors that are being voted on. The Baja Blast, and the new Pitch Black. Anyone care to weigh in on the matter?

 

I like the Baja Blast. Can't say much about the Pitch Black. I still like the original best, though.

 

All of them make me vibrate and I tend to drop the cans on the ground, irrespective of flavor. Sooner or later the caffeine amt will reach Red Bull level and they'll be a lot of T bone accidents involving DewHeads thinking they can "beat the light"

 

I was never a fan of original, I did enjoy the Baja last summer, this summer it's not as good it seems. The pitch black is good when it's cold. The caffeine has little effect, or the opposite effect on me

 

I'm pretty much the same with the caffeine, Chad. I can drink a 20 oz. bottle and go to bed and go right to sleep.

 

Honestly, I've never tried either mentioned variant of Mt.Dew... However, a variant I have been drinking lots and lots of, is their "Black Label" cans... Two of the three first ingredients are juices(grape and orange if I recall), and then the usual Dew stuff... The only complaint I have is that it only comes in a 16oz can...

 

I haven't tried any of the "black label" stuff. The only ones with juice I have tried are the "kick start", and I really only care for the black cherry one and it has to be cold or I don't care for it.

 

I agree with you, Chad. The black cherry flavored one is naaaassssttttyyyy.

 

If it's ice cold it's not bad. Anything past that it's not good.

 

Im okay with baja blast, havent tried the pitch black yet. Code red is still a top pick though, right next to good ol Dr.Pepper
