My neediness coming out...

So, I've been playing video games lately, to take my mind off work (sucks when I dream of plastic pipe)and car issues, and I got nostalgic and dug up an older title: Final Fantasy IX... I forgot how addicting it is... Compared to new generation consoles, the graphics suck, and there is no voice acting, (the game came out in 2000 for the original PlayStation)but amazingly fun nonetheless...

Anybody else enjoy playing fifteen year old RPG games?
EDIT: I friggin hate autocorrect... It messed up my title... Was supposed to read: "my nerdiness coming out"

I've had a hankering for playing Sid Meier's Sim Golf for a while. I also have NASCAR '04 that's tempting me again. But I don't have the time right now to play them.

I forgot how much I loved that game... It was my first Final Fantasy game... I'm on my third play through... My first I completed(and then played on for years) at age 12 or so, but I used a gameshark, being an immature pre-teen... It made the game too easy... My next playthrough was a low level/speed run, ending with most characters under LV5, and I got to the end in 11:48:35... Now, I'm playing through the traditional way again, but without sharking my save...

OMG, does anyone remember the Leisure Suit Larry games? Back when computers were the brand new thing, before the internet really took off? They were a hoot!

I don't remember the "leisure suit Larry" games(before my time), but I remember neighbors talking about them... Come to think of it, I don't remember much at all from the previous millennium...

welcome back Ginny -- I lamented just today about your absence

I don't remember the "Larry" games either, Ginny. Have you been into some of the good old fashioned Tennessee moonshine?
