I know I could probably find something on bitog but don't really feel like searching their site but anyways..has anyone done real world testing of oil to see which gets the best mileage as far as dino/blend/synthetic and/or different brands but same blend/type

 

I run Mobil 1 and get what ever fuel mileage I get.

 

I'm with sw2cam -- 'cept I'm using Castrol GTX. It is what it is ...

 

I use Mobil 1 in both the ASTRA and the ION. You'd think the little 1.8L would get better mileage than the 2.4L ION but on the hiway it gets less and the same in town. I've never tryed to do a mileage test of oil one VS the other.

 

I use Mobil One in my Equinox and Castrol Syntec in my Grand Caravan. Mileage hasn't changed any since I bought either one and switched them over.
