I Refuse to Change
 

Tuesday night I gradually woke up, stiff as a plank, in the hospital's ICU. I had tubes up my nose, down my throat, wires all around my head, monitoring every function, a hell of a pain over my left ear, and everything looked blurry. It was obvious I'd been in a serious accident.


A gorgeous nurse was hovering over me. She looked at me tenderly, and I heard her slowly say, "You may not feel anything from the waist down."

I managed to mumble in reply, "Are your boobs off limits, too?"

Now, seriously. Are you ok?
