Hey gang, I'm here to report I sold my ION. It will be picked up tomorrow, yet I have the cash in hand. This is the first time since 1992 that I didn't own a Saturn. My youngest Daughter still has her 2007 ION 2 ....

Got $10,000 cash for it.

4 2006/2007 16 inch alloy wheels that have been in boxes since new.

I think I have a rear spoiler for a S-Sedan.

I have a 2 week paid vacation I'm eligible for starting January 2.
I would like to plan a trip to Houston. So maybe just drive the extra 19 hours to Arizona, because I definitely want those rims. Shipping will be crazy though.

Hey guys ..... it is very odd to go into the garage and not see my ION. The car as sold was in better than new condition. No really, not a mark on the car from use. Plus many simple upgrades. Plus the buyer got many spares for the 2.4L ION, like a brand new SATURN A/C compressor, struts, and so on.

Billy, drive over get the wheels they are boxed and ready to go along with the SMS solid strut bar. I saved all the goodies for ya.

Shipping hub to hub is not all that costly. Door to door is what kills ya.

 

Shipping didn't really hurt to bad when I got 2 rims for the redline. I think it was $40 for both of them door to door. And that was upstate New York.


I am still in shock, though.


I do appreciate you keeping me in mind with the goodies. I will definitely be getting them from you when I find out when my vacation is.
