Got around to putting up a few pics of the SC. Check out my page.

How do we check your page?

Jaywizzy 03-22-2014 02:17 PM

I meant my one on here, lol. My profile. Sorry Rubehayseed. :p

Rube.......pictures are in his album up in the photo gallery, and looking good.

Rubehayseed 03-23-2014 10:17 PM

Hells bells, Rj. I'm so used to people just slapping their pics up here, that I didn't even think to look in the gallery. Damn allergies have had me feeling off for a few days and today isn't any different. Checked them out. Nice looking whip, Jaywizzy.

I feel you on that one. The pollon down here is terrible right now. Worse than it has been in years. It coats my box at the shop like dust. And thanks guys! Sorry for not just being easy and posting them up on the thread, hard to work my phone on here with the messed up screen lol.

She does look good Jason, thanks.

eneloop 03-26-2014 01:09 AM

I like it.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated! I decided to have a little fun with the stock rims over the weekend until I get some 15 offsets. Still not able to upload on the thread with my phone, so they are also on my profile as of now.

Its looking awesome! how exactly did you do that to those rims?
I almost picked up a set of those at the junk yard. 3 of them looked new, one of them needed to be sanded being it looked like it was ran against a brick wall.
But those look amazing!

When I washed my car I took off the hub caps and washed them down with tire cleaner and soap. When I got home I used a degreaser, brake cleaner will work as well, to fully clean them and wipe them free of brake dust. Sanded down with a fine grit, and then applied about 3 coats on each. Didn't even use clear coat, but if you want it to last a while I suggest clear coat. They will lose the shine in about a month if not. Thanks bud!

Hey Rube I rather see picture in the threads, and in albums. To be honest I forget to look in the bloody gallery. Jason go look for a set of chrome trim rings and lug nuts for those wheels. It's a classic good look and cheap on top of it. Paint the center hub with chrome paint to add to the look if you like, or silver to match the car. I did just that to my bright red SL2 taking off the 17's before I sold it.
