Unknown Electrical Problem

So i have a 2001 Saturn SL. Its the 5 speed manual, and it was originally running. So the wiring harness to the radio was cut out. I rewired it back together. But then randomly one day my gauge cluster shut off, including my wipers and then my motor shut off. It will not start, and when I turn the key, it just cranks. When the key is let off, it makes a weird groaning noise. Does anyone know what this might be? I’m thinking either the alternator or something in the ignition.

I'm thinking we have no idea what type of vehicle it is

Here is a link to the basic radio wiring diagram. Please ensure both fuses in the instrument panel junction box are good and that the correct color wires are connected as shown in the diagram. Also, please confirm that the clock works and that the radio itself works properly including sound at all four speakers.

As you can see, the dimming circuit effects both the instrument cluster and the radio.

Please make sure the dimming function for the instrument panel and radio works properly when your parking lights and headlights are on. Should be a knob on the dash on the left for that

The diagram seems to show that the incoming power branches off to other components after going through each of the fuses. Therefore, let's confirm this part of the circuit is correct and only explore the rest of where it leads if we have to.

The moaning noise you hear when letting off the key from cranking is probably the starter spinning down.
