Tcc stuck on/off

hello everyone glade to be here. I NEED some help my 1998 sl1 automatic transmission seems the TCC stuck on/off? a few weeks ago coming home my transmission went into a safe mode only able to be in low gear. code read TCC stuck on/off. i changed fluid an filter also changed transmission temp switch with a brass one. i can clear codes start car drives so far then drop into the safe mode again. now my code read gear 2 not right ratio, gear 3 not right ratio, gear 4 not right ratio. I put 6 quarts of recommended fluid but sounds like cavitation in the transaxle.

Please post the actual code number for the first time it coded and the code numbers for the second time.

I'll try to help you sort it out.

For starters, are you sure you did not disturb any electrical connections when working on the trans? Possibly a sensor pigtail?

Does it even hold 6 quarts of fluid with just a fluid and filter change? For some reason, I thought it was 4 to 4.5. Been a while since I owned one and did the fluid and filter change and I MIGHT be thinking of my PT Cruiser.

First group of codes sounds like there may have been electrical connectivity issues as every single solenoid including the TCC threw errors.

That seems to have been resolved during a drain and fill of the tranny. Can't say how.

To troubleshoot the incorrect gear ratio errors, I would check the input and output speed sensors on the transmission.
