...and I thought I''''d introduce my car a bit.

1998 SL2, gray, manual tranny shifts nicely, just got home with it Saturday. Haven''''t even had a chance to clean it up yet or look at the option codes. Just what I need, another interference engine. I think I''m up to about 26 spark plugs (2x V6, 3x 4 bangers, lawn tractor and weed whacker)

Oh, first things first - a big THANK YOU to Low Saturn for your informative website.

The car has minor body damage (outside mirrors, driver side fender and door cracks) but the body parts look easy and cheap to replace - Low Saturn''''s website has all the info I''''m going to need!

Let''''s see... seems to run fine, drove home with no probs, around 105k miles or so on it. Wasn''''t actually planning on buying the car... it was sitting around $700 but hadn''''t met reserve, had about3 hrs left iirc, so I threw in a lowball bid... which met the $800 reserve. And shockingly, no one sniped it from me! So now I havea nice SL2.

I''''m sureI''''ll be asking questions (after searching) if/when they come up, but I''''m just glad to see an enthusiast forum.Edited by: alordofchaos
