Saturn Vue Owner..
Bought her bone stock from my parents about a year ago for 3 grand. 130k ish on everything.
Started with the normal mods, blacked out signals, slight tail tint, and new wheel covers because I cant afford new rims and tires :( Poor college student http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3728/1...7ed444bf_c.jpg Painted my bumpers and front grill to add a more uniform look. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3796/1...a372dccc_c.jpg Thrush muffler ghetto rigged on (still needs to be completed) as well as a custom cold air intake I made. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5516/1...e6fa4e5b_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7386/1...f98e65a5_c.jpg Everything ran great until my engine died. I got the engine replaced with a used engine (had 80k when I bought it) and she now runs like a champ. Interior mods include new stereo, LED lighting for the floor, as well as a few simple dash mods. Before dash mods - http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3772/1...32f6ca0f_c.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5510/1...cb5322e6_c.jpg After dash mods - http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2829/1...8706edae_c.jpg In addition, I just finished swapping out my seat heater switch lighting as well as adding a voltmeter. I'll post pictures of my finished dash tomorrow, hopefully :) Thanks for looking |
Yeah - I'd up that "ghetto rigged" muffler higher on my list of things to do, but each cat has their own ash can. Welcome to the Forum ...

Yeah, at the time I had just used some metal strapping material to get it up off the ground as I had to drive the car somewhere. I just haven't gotten around to replacing the mount. I am considering just straight piping it but I am not sure.

Welcome to the forum. You've done some interesting mods, for sure. Did you figure out what happened to the first engine that caused it to die?

Looks good, welcome to the forum. Go to the USER CP top left of the page open "signature" and add your first name,,location, and car info.

Sounds good cam.
And the engine threw a rod, so it had to be replaced. It had about 175k on it at the time. |
Looks good and your enjoying the VUE, thats what it's all about. Welcome to the Saturn Forum.

Thanks, and yes, I love my vue. Very reliable. I just installed a dimmer switch for my shift knob, which is working out really well. Next is a dimmer switch for the floor LEDs, and then I need to sand my shift knob more to diffuse and then epoxy it on, and that project will be done.
