new to this thread thanks for the add .I own a 2007 saturn vue 3.5 and a 2002 saturn vue 3.0 Awd i also was a service advisor at saturn from 01-06

Is it true that you should never take your vehicle to a dealership service department during the last week of a month?

The rationale being that the service writers need to meet their monthly quotas and the techs are fine with it because they get more billable hours...

Some dealerships were that way whats worse is getting the 15k 30k 60k services full of flushes not needed but writers get kick back from the chemical companies for flushes sold

Do you have any recommendations for accessing all the Saturn parts stock that was bought up when they shuttered Saturn?
I think the company had "vintage" in its name. They charge 3x the actual cost (supposedly) but they are older AC Delco parts, and the ones without rubber are of generally higher quality than the random overseas crap that comes from overseas in an AC Delco box. Usually, it's identical to a cheaper part made by a competitor.

The name of that parts outfit would be a great piece of information for our members.
