Hi.
I am new to the page.
I have a couple Vue's right now and several parts Vue's.

I have an 07 with the 2.2 in it and am told that the 07 2.2 is 1 year only.
Does anyone know what other 2.2 vin code D, L61 will fit this vue?
I was thinking that a cobalt, malibu or other similar may work.

Welcome, the 07 Cobalt and Malibu have a vin code F. I looked on car-part.com and it looks like a VUE only one year wonder. Is your engine repairable?

I hope it can be saved.
I didn't know if anyone might know why it was listed as 2007 only for the engine.

 

I know the 2007 L61 Cobalt is also a one year engine. The castings for the block and head are different and they changed the tone ring on the crank from 6+1 to 60-2 I think. I plan to rebuild my Cobalt engine, it dumped a chain and bent valves at 175k miles.
