New arrival
Hello everyone!
I've owned Saturns for almost 30 years, and currently have an 01 SC2 that is just past 314K miles, and got my 99 SL1 back from my kid when she didn't want to put any more money in it. It has 276K miles, which is amazing because it had 42K when we bought it in 2002.
Anyway, I'm handling a lot of minor issues with the SL1 right now, after having the head pulled and rebuilt. It's running pretty good, just have a lot of quality of life issues to address.

Welcome to the forum. The S series cars have proved to be tough little cars. The biggest issues I've seen it oil consumption (especially on the DOHC engines) and the terrible TAAT4 automatic transmissions they put in them.
Welcome to our humble forum.
One of the largest issues I've had is rube.
I drove down to his place in the south and met the guy.
He is nice as hell which made me uncomfortable because I am not. His wife is awesome. Sometimes we have our own phone calls but not recently.
I think I answered one of your other posts. All the interior parts are gone. Get them from junk yards down south. Pretty much the only option.

The pull a part yard in Birmingham has quite a few Saturns. And they have 3 locations in Atlanta which gives you even more options. I used to shop the one in Nashville when I lived in Tennessee. I miss that yard because I knew my way around it very well.
