New Account - 97 Saturn SL Owner

Greetings. Posting here to get my post count started.

I've owned a '97 Saturn SL since 2003 and it recently started having some engine troubles, which is causing my posting here. I've kept records on all the maintenance work and logged gas entries since 2011 using the wonderful aCar android application.

I got her back when she had 73K miles, and within the last month she just crossed the 200K threshold. I'd like to keep her going as long as possible, so I'm joining to try to get some help from Saturn gurus, since my mechanic is great but he's not a Saturn expert.

Welcome, sir.
We're pretty hospitable around here and will do our best to help you out.

I'm sure you will like it here... We are a close group of people here... If you can stand a little joking around, you'll fit in around here just fine..,

...and since you've already made your sig, and are posting in correct sub-forums, we need not train you... Welcome!

I needed some training. We'll compare scars later! Welcome to the Saturn community!

Welcome to the forum. Post some questions so I can mislead you and then have the smart guys tell you the right things to do! LOL

Thanks. As a forum admin for 10+ years, I have a bit of experience in these areas. ;)

Sniff Sniff... THOUGHT I smelled an admin type around here somewhere :)

Was it for an automotive forum?

Dammit, now I have to behave professionally......or do I.....(I could just ban him....)
