Default Just purchased an 09 Astra 3dr 5 speed

I have test driven a lot of vehicles and was very pleasantly surprised by the Astra. Now that Saturn no longer exists I was able to get an $8600 discount on the last one in the lot. (red xr 3 door). I guess the possible faster depreciation is nullified by the huge mark down at the front end. I'm sure I'll be second guessing myself for a while but hopefully this car will prove to be a solid purchase. By the way the 09's which I gather were only imported to Canada have an MP3 input.

Hello and welcome to the Saturn forum, the Astra is a nice little car and I think you'll grow to like the little reis'r. Oh and you are right, no 2009's made it to the U.S. Saturn retailers as new cars.

I was wrong about the mp3 input. It will play mp3 format but has no input. I've already put 600 km on the car (400 miles). The trip computer displays an average of 6.9 litres per 100 km which is about 30 miles per U.S. gallon. So far I'm very pleased - the sports seats are wonderful!!

my 95 SC2 still gets 31 mpg in mixed and 35 on the highway (I have have to calculate that manually, but I'm fine with that)

Over the life of the car my average gas mileage driving to and from work is now

28.26

2007 ION-3 automatic
2.4L VVT
175hp
165 lbs of torque

and still we have no pictures from Mr Rob
