I just bought a 1996 dark green SL2 with 150000 miles, it burns oil and has a leak in the muffler so its pretty loud, but she let it go for 400 dollars so i thought it was a pretty good deal. Is it common for these cars to burn oil and is it easy to fix? thanks

not uncommon, new rings and valve stem seals should fix her up
