Hello forum for saturns,I bought my daughter an 02 sc2 coupe last year which has served her quite well so far so I decided I should try to find one of those saturns and see if I can get 35+ mpg out of it. Well, my prayers (well, not really) were answered last week when I ran Across a 94 sc2 at a local dealer that couldn't give it away basically. HE was asking 200 or it and after I paid him the negotiated 190$ for it I attempted to drive it home. I had filled up the overflow with fluid and made sure there was oil in it and after a couple stops on the interstate from overheating I finally made it home. Seems as though the thermostat was stuck closed which had caused it to overheat which then of course warped the head which I now have pulled. I'm in need of agood head if someone has one as well as a starter and other misc. and asorted goodies. If anyone has some let me know.thanks!I think i'll like this purple piece of pooh once I get her back up to snuff!

Search local junkyards or eBay for heads.

And just so you know, you wont be getting the same MPG on the 1994 as the 2002. With an even mix of highway and street driving, expect mpg's in the high 20's.
