Introducion from Illinois
Unfortunately I came to the site looking for information to repair my 1996 Saturn SL2 with only 217597 miles. I also own a 1997 Volvo 850 with over 325,000 miles and it is equally a DIY repair friendly car. The Volvo has an excellent forum that I came to depend on for all my repairs called matthewsvolvosite.com and I was looking for the equivalent type of forum for the Saturn. So far after looking through many of the threads, I think I have struck gold.

Welcome to the forum. With that many miles on it, you need to stick around. You'll run into things you need help with, and that's what this forum is for.

When a close friend of mine was running a wrecking yard quite successfully I might add, he was constantly saying that he loved Saturns, they were easy to repair and dang near ran for ever on negligence. So when ever possible he would resurrect one for his rent to own sales network.
He sold the wrecking yard and retired. And Saturn's are slowly disappearing from the automotive scene. And we are silly enough to hang around to insure that what ever remaining miles are left on them, are enjoyed. Welcome. |
Indeed, welcome to the Forum from the deep South ...
