Iam old but new.
I'm 79. I built my first engine in 1956 and have been building, restoring, modifying and racing cars ever since. My latest is a 2008 Saturn Vue that I'm building for reliability to tow behind our motorhome. Racing days are long over! It's a loaded XE AWD, and so has the reliable pushrod V6 and the unreliable 6T-70 tranny. It has varoius ailments but the body and interior are near-perfect and the price was right.

Welcome! You can probably teach all of us something. Love learning tricks from the old timers who have been in the game for a long time

Welcome. A face with a name always helps.
I hope the previous owner had the 35R waveplate issue dealt with under extended warranty (I sense you are not the original owner; forgive me if I am wrong). What did you use to race? |
Glad to know you, Thumper. Keep some of the fish in the TN River, okay? I got a buddy in Canada that want to come to AL and do some serious fishing. You may officially be our most Senior member. You've got 15 years on me!

74 Honda Civic gymkhana C production. Took state championship first year and sold Civic to the A production champ driving a Lotus Europa. I beat his Lotus times with the Civic. But he couldn't handle front wheel drive and never won with the Civic.
