Welcome to the forum. Take a few minutes and open the USER CP and add your first name, location, and car to your "signature".

Welcome to the forum. About the only thing I can say to watch for is oil consumption. Especially if you have the DOHC engine.

The best thing to do is read on the subject then post questions in a new thread in one of the s-series forums.

I just run a thicker oil in mine. In the summer here, I use 20w-50. In the winter I switched to a 10w-40. Of course, you being so far north, I don't know if you can do that in the winter. Summer might be okay for you. Maybe a 10W-30? Don't know why they use oil, it's just a characteristic of the 1.9 DOHC as far as I can tell. Mine still uses about a quart between 5,000 mile changes, but I don't think that's too bad.
