Heavy smoking exhaust
2001 saturn l200 exhaust smoking horribly. Anyway to inexpensively alleviate some of the oil burn off... any advice?

No, synthetic only smokes less. It will still burn oil until you repair the engine. |

Rings and valve seals is where most oil gets that it is not supposed to. If you don’t have much money to spend I recommend a different car. It is a major undertaking to repair a tired engine. |

I think it is waving the white flag as we type.
Small repairs and oil burning do not belong in the same sentence. I answered your other AC thread. If you've killed 3 compressors the compressor is probably not the root cause, only the final outcome Let it go and move on (my advice) |
