Smile Gary from Idaho

Just purchased a 2008 saturn vue xr here in Boise. Needed a good second vehicle to commute to work each day so the wife would have the nice car and not be stuck at home. I have always loved the looks of the smaller saturn vue. It has more miles than I had hoped for but its maintenance history seems to be regular and nothing too major as of yet. I just wanted to join the saturn forum so I'd be able to see others with the vue and learn about the vehicle from the forum posts. Wish me luck with this daily driver.

I have begun to search for the rear cargo cover and have several but not the light grey color to match the interior. I have went to sites but can't seem to find a site that will allow me to choose different colors. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, Gary. There's not a lot of Vue owners here and I've never even opened the hood on one, so I won't be much help to you. All I will say is pay attention to the transmission in it. That seems to be a problem area with the Vue.

Welcome, I think the gen 2 VUE is similar to some other GM models. Maybe something for the Buick version might work.

Welcome.

I had a 2008 vue xr for a while.
I hope it's had its 6t70 tranny issues already happen. 6t70 was mated to the 3.6 and probably the 3.5. 6t75 same issue. Across GM line.

In better news, I have the cargo net from my 2008 vue in the garage. It's been waiting for 10 years for a new home since I totaled The vehicle in a 4 mile per hour front bump.

Unless my wife threw it out the last time we cleaned the garage. Never even thought to grab the cover after the accident. We know not to leave other stuff behind

The closest vehicles to the 2008 2009 vue are the early Chevy captivas. I want to say 2012 to 2014 but 2011 might be in there as well. It basically looked like a VUE with a Chevy badge on it. At least the early ones. Most of the market for them was not in the US but I'm sure you can find parts on the net. You can also cross reference GM part numbers. I've helped others do this and almost all the parts have identical part numbers where they overlap. The biggest problem is the inconsistency across the compatibility displayed at the bottom of some of the GM parts catalogs pages. Some comparisons simply weren't made and therefore are not listed in the table.

I have the cargo net but the cargo retractable cover is missing.
