buying another saturn... maybe.

hello all. I'm new to the forum but possibly buying my second Saturn, and first Vue. Not too experienced with the Vue so I figured i would check with experienced individuals like yourselves. I'm looking at a 2003 2.2 5-speed FWD Vue with 140,000mi. I like the fuel mileage ratings given to it but would like some pointers on things to look out for and to check. I also plan on doing a lot of traveling and trailer pulling with it. Thank you all for the welcome in advance.

Hey Chad, welcome and enjoy.
Can't comment much on the vue. No very little about them other than the automatics do not have much of a reputation.
7 years old with 140,000 of some one elses miles? Plan to drive a lot and pull trailers.
What can be said other than make sure the cooling system is up to snuff and keep a good oil in it and when it breaks fix it don't jury rig it.
I've never bought anyting with that many miles although I bought a Junkyard dodge van with 300,000 miles and got another 7000 out of it before it quit and thought I did o.k.

Welcome to the forum. If you're going to do a lot of towing with it, just be sure to watch your clutch. It will probably wear out faster by towing.
