Just thought I'd check in on the forum as a newbie.
We got to California last week needing to rent a car for 10 days to drive around to meetings. Well, no rental cars, so I went on Craigslist at Sacramento Airport and found the cheapest car I could: thought we'd keep it 10 days and sell quickly. The car was.....a 1991 Saturn SL1 in light metallic blue. I've never thought about them much, except thinking that they were nice looking little cars. I'm into old Chevys but like all cars. Well, the cheap little Saturn has done over 1000 miles in 10 days and has been brilliant. It's got 157k on the clock, and is smooth, quiet and responsive. The auto seatbelts are stuck and there's no headliner, but apart from that it's a great car. Now at the end of 10 days my wife loves it so much she wants to keep it, so I guess there's a Saturn in the family now. I have to say how impressed I am, and look forward to doing the 1000 little jobs an old car always needs........ Bruce |
Welcome I guess..............I've never heard of anyone buying an entire car by accident before. I hope you didn't get hurt or killed.
