93 SL2 owner. Bought it brand new with 26 miles on it. Now it has 160,000. Just finished replacing the hole front end (rotor, bearings, hub, etc.). Would like to keep adding on to it. Maybe cold air in-take, new plug wires (colored), strut bar. Any more sugestions? And where should I get these parts? should I get them new or used? Any help woulg be greatly apprieated.

 

Welcome to the group Jack. Thats the same year and model that I have.I bought it a few months ago with about 140K on it. I'm not to sure where you can buy custom saturn parts for that year though.

 

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking and have found a couple of things but the options seem like they are very limited. I will just have to keep looking!

 

Have you had any major problems with yours?

 

Cracked head at 20,000, they replaced the whole engine. Clutch assembly 10,000 mi. ago. Other than that not much but the normal wear and tear items. It has been a great car!

 

Thats good to know. I've hada few small things that I needed to fix, but overall have had the same experience.

 

How much did you pay for your saturn if you don't mind me asking?
