Default windshield needed

Amigos,
I need a windshield for my daughters 2003 Saturn Ion four door coupe

There are etched numbers (part number/lot/ DOT code in the lower center of the windshield
Is that the part number? If I find identical numbers in the junk yard, will it fit?

Any clues as to how to remove the plastic trim parts over the passenger doors?

We found two 2007's that both had good windshields but unsure if it was correct for 2003

They have the same ppg number so they should be the same. Billy will know if all the Ion glass fits 4 doors to 4 doors and coupes to coupes.

Usually coupes and sedans take different glass. Manufacturers make long model runs because doors and glass cost alot to change.

Which of the numbers on that 'bug splat' indicate the part number?
Is it the 43R-00028?

I got a new windshield installed on my 04 Ion in 2020. The part number on the receipt is DW01523 GTY. Googling that number shows that it fits all Ion sedans 03 - 07. The part number for the coupe is DW01524 GTY.
