What is this?!

Hello! Does anyone know what this is? We think it’s an engine mount but I can’t quite find the same looking part. I can get wider angle pictures if needed

That is a broken motor mount. What year and model? It looks like a 2.2L Ecotec from the oil filter cap.

Kind of hard to tell from the photo, but I THINK it's the 4th one down in this series of mounts. []=2.2L]https://www.carid.com/2001-saturn-l-series-motor-mounts/?filter=1&sub-model[Liter][]=2.2L As for difficulty, that's entirely up to the person doing the job. Most of us here do our own mechanic work, so wouldn't consider it difficult to do. If you've never worked on a car, then it might be the hardest thing you've ever done in your life. Go to youtube and look up a guy called richpin. He's got a lot of how to videos on Saturns. Type in replacing the driver side motor mount by richpin and see if it comes up. I'm busy and won't do that for you.

That is the mount that is difficult to find, these cars have four mounts. You need to look at the transmission mount under the fuse box also. Those mounts break when you run over a curb. I might have another used one but I would have to dig or take one off a parts car. You probably can get one from a wrecking yard but check your car for further damage first.
