Exclamation Timing belt replacement on Astra

I know this has probably been discussed many times before. But I just bought a '08 Astra with 66,000 miles on it and was wondering when the timing belt is suppose to be changed? Take it easy on me, only been on this site for 5 min's! Thanks for your help. EK

Actually, never brought up. See below for interval

Here's the whole maintenance schedule, since if you don't know the timing belt interval, chances are you don't know the other intervals either.

It's in the Astra Limited Warranty Maintenance and Owner Assistance Information" Booklet (not the Owner's Manual. Go figure.)

_____________

It starts on page 44 of the "Astra Limited Warranty Maintenance and Owner Assistance Information" Booklet

Required Manufacturer Maintenance:

Oil and filter must be changed when the INSP is displayed. Must be changed at least once a year.

If the OLM is accidentally reset, you must change your oil within 3000 miles/5000 kms from your last service to maintain warranty.

SEMI ANNUAL CHECKS/INSPECTIONS/SERVICES:

Restraint System Check
Throttle System Inspection
Auto/Manual Transmission
Transaxle Check
Wiper Blade Check
Engine Cooling System Inspection
Brake and Tire Inspection (Including Tire Rotation and Spare Tire Check)
Steering and Suspension System Inspection
Starter Switch Check
Auto Transmission/Transaxle Shift Lock Control System Check
Parking Brake and Auto Transmission/Transaxle Park Mechanism Check
Ignition Transmission/Transaxle Lock Check

Additional Required Services: These should be performed at the Miles/Kms indicated:

Inspect Fuel System for damage or leaks: Every 25,000 miles/40,000 kms
Inspect Exhaust System for loose or damaged components: (Same as above)
Replace Engine Air Filter: Every 50,000 miles/80,000 kms
Replace Passenger Air Filter: Every 25,000 miles/40,000 kms
Change Automatic Transmission Fluid (severe): Every 50,000 miles/80,000 kms
Change Automatic Transmission Fluid (Normal): Every 100,000 miles/160,000 kms
Replace Spark Plugs: Every 25,000 miles/40,000 kms
Engine Cooling System Service: Every 150,000 miles/240,000 kms (or after 5 yrs whichever comes first)
Solid Lifter Tappet Adjustment: Every 75,000 miles/120,000 kms (or every 10 yrs whichever comes first)
Replace Timing Belt and Tensioner: Every 75,000 miles/120,000 kms (or every 10 yrs whichever comes first)
Inspect Engine Accessory Drive Belt: Every 25,000 miles/40,000 kms (or every 2 yrs whichever comes first)
Change Brake and Clutch Hydraulic Fluid at a regular maintenance service: Every 2 yrs.

If he had the booklet mentioned above, he wouldn't have asked the question.
Which means he would not have the official intervals for any other maintenance either.

It was a single cut n paste. Otherwise I would have just shared the link

No, I am NOT feeling OK---so new and different -- but thanks for asking.
I know you aren't either. Life keeps kicking you and Rea in the back of the head.

Sorry about the temporary threadjack, Evel. But I did answer his question,

Back to the subject at hand on next post.
