I purchased a replacement thermostat for my son's 1995 SL2. Replacement
instructions from Autozone.com say to use the tool provided with the thermostat for removal and installation yet the thermostat was purchased from Autozone, had no tool and they didn't know anything about it. Do I need a "tool"? Thanks |
you can use a socket or needle nose pliers, just need to push down and turn it
|
All you need is a 10mm socket to remove the neck from the engine. Other than that the thermostat comes off the housing by instruction indicated above.Edited by: Low Saturn

Thanks again for the help, We are off to Honolulu Tues AM so will see how
the car repairs go. Sure is nice to know what I'm getting into upfront. Best Regards |
